Panday Kids on TV, Do we still wonder why our kids are violent?

Panday kids and their costumes are good to look at on TV. Most children and their parents cheer for them while the TV producer smiles as the rating increases and money comes in. Do we still wonder why our kids have a hawkish stance? We show them on TV that people need to employ violence to survive.

We rationalize that, anyway, these kids know that this is only fiction, well, most of them do not. And they watch it, fascinated by the shouting, kicking and boxing melees occurring in the small boob tube in front of them. Can you instruct the parents not to allow their kids to watch? How can you, when it is labeled for general patronage and specifically for children.

Where are we leading our children?

Drugs of Abuse by Teens

Drugs of abuse by teens is the culture that teens grow up and assume that these substances are tolerable by society and are therefore "okay" to use. It is only later that they would come to realize that they have disastrous side effects like liver cirrhosis, lung cancer and other serious conditions. By then, it would be too late to institute cure and withdrawal.

What causes teen substance abuse? Drugs, alcohol and cigarettes hold a promise of blissful relief and ecstasy to teenagers that is why many are often caught in the vicious web of these drugs' physical dependence and addiction. Emotional and psychological problems are also a major causes of substance abuse.

Children Almost Always Imitate What They Watch from TV

Have you noticed that even cartoons are full of violence and gore? I'm wondering what generation would we cultivate. You leave your child with a cartoon CD, confident that what he will watch is a beautiful cartoon movie, only to learn later that it was actually a violent movie. Now you'll have to screen everything before you let your child watch. Isn't that sad?

If only, we could dream with them for a peaceful and non-violent world.
