The boob tube is a vital media influence on society, Look at women scrambling to the stores to buy the latest advertised skin whitening magic cream. The ads suffuse our senses that we think everything advertised is the norm. Being wise and discerning about what you watch is the call of the day. Be vigilant too of people trying to assail you with destructive ads. Destructive morally for children. i.e. a child shown, pulling off a mat rudely from an older person who was sleeping.
Do you remember the ponds ads? Some people were offended. How could a person base love on whether you have a whiter and creamier skin or not? That's preposterous!
That's what TV ads could do. So folks, don't believe everything you see on TV. When you see and ad,remember the main objective of the person who created that ad- TO SELL HIS PRODUCT.
